CVR Global partner and Insolvency Practitioner Charles Turner was delighted to present at the prestigious annual conference of the International Association of Insolvency Regulators (IAIR).
Charles was one of only two IPs invited to attend the private event and presented on the regulatory process in the UK from the perspective of an IP.
The three-day conference – held at Westminster and chaired by the Insolvency Service of England and Wales this year – looked at how regimes are developing their regulatory approach and sharing experiences and was attended by government representatives from 30 countries.
Amongst many others, the delegates attended from countries as far afield as New Zealand, Mauritius, Thailand, Uganda, Russia, USA and Chile. The World Bank was also represented.
As well as being an IP of long standing, Charles has relevant regulatory experience not least as a former president of the Insolvency Practitioners Association (IPA) and is currently serving as a member of the disciplinary committee for the IPA.
Charles’ presentation was well received and he said it was an honour to be invited to address the conference.
