Michaela Daly, head of the Staffordshire office of Begbies Traynor, has been shortlisted as finalist in the Enterprise Vision Awards (EVAs) 2023 in the category of Employer of the Year.
In the nomination, Michaela is recognised for “supporting women in the industry and creating a diverse, supportive and progressive environment for women to flourish and prosper.”
On becoming a finalist, Michaela said:
“This is a tremendous honour to be on the shortlist, particularly in this category. My own life experiences have shaped my leadership style, and I believe in leading by example. I think it is important to inspire my team to feel good and engaged about the positive work they are doing to support businesses, but also carve out a full life beyond their careers.”
Celebrating the successes and achievements of outstanding female entrepreneurs for more than a decade, the EVAs are the UK’s largest business awards dedicated solely to recognising the achievements of women in business. Created to put the spotlight on women who are leading the way in their industries, they not only judge on turnover but also growth, creativity, ethics, passion and commitment.
Michaela has played a pivotal role in growing the Staffordshire office since it was acquired from Dunion & Co by Begbies Traynor in 2019. The team has grown significantly in Staffordshire during that time, and continues to expand from its dedicated offices at Lymedale Business Park.
The winners of the EVAs will be announced at an awards ceremony on 29th September, hosted at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool.
