Begbies Traynor confirms deal which saves 34 jobs

34 jobs have been saved in a deal which sees the sale of a specialist landscaping company as a going concern to a third party.

Begbies Traynor has confirmed the deal after Gary Lee and Paul Stanley, who are both based at its Manchester office, were appointed as Joint Administrators of AC Landscapes and Treeworks UK Ltd on Friday 14 June 2024.

Established in 2007, AC Landscapes and Treeworks provides vegetation management, landscaping, and arboricultural consultancy services across the UK’s Strategic Highways and Electricity Distribution sectors.

The £4m turnover company operates across the North West, North East, Midlands and the South West and holds a number of strategic, long-term frameworks with National Highways.

It has now been acquired by an unconnected third party enabling it to fulfil its existing contracts.
