David Rubin

David is a Chartered Accountant and Licensed Insolvency Practitioner. He founded the practice of David Rubin & Partners in 1984 to focus on business restructuring, and insolvency. Since then he has concentrated almost exclusively on underperforming businesses and has become a well-recognised and respected figure in the restructuring industry. David enjoys the challenge of business rescue and his work often involves litigation and alternative dispute resolution.

David sits on the Council of INSOL Europe and is chairman of the Sponsorship Committee. He is a former council member of the Association of Business Recovery Professionals (R3) and INSOL International. He was Chairman of the R3 Education, Courses and Conferences Committee, as well as the Smaller Practice Groups for both R3 and INSOL International.

David regularly lectures to the insolvency profession and has written technical papers for INSOL Europe. His hobbies include tennis, skiing and playing the piano.

In March 2021, David Rubin & Partners became part of the Begbies Traynor Group of which David is now a partner.
